Monitoring of the ARC-MFC forecast system
We provide weekly updated results from monitoring routines that provides information about the consistency of the forcing fields and the ARC MFC forecasts. The intention is to highlight contrasts between the representation in the products that provide boundary conditions, and the impact these products have on the ARC MFC forecasts. This is of interest both with respect to vertical fluxes between the atmosphere and the ocean/sea ice system, and with respect to horizontal fluxes in the form of lateral boundary conditions.
